Lab fees and Blood Interpretation

Service Description

This option is for trainers/owners who have taken a blood sample and will either drop the blood tubes to Blair Street Vets in Bunbury or to their local Western Diagnostics drop off point. If you are dropping the blood tubes to a local Western Diagnostics drop off point, the samples MUST be in a yellow hazard bag and both blood tubes MUST be labelled correctly. They will then organise transport to Vetpath laboratory, in Jandakot, Perth. The sample will need to be labelled with the animal's name, your surname and the date. A Vetpath form must be printed and completed accordingly. This form must accompany the blood tubes. Haematology (purple top tube) and Biochemistry (yellow or red) blood tubes must be used.
